Terms of Service

Written like a human,
not a solicitor.

These terms explain what you're buying, what we need from you, and what happens if something doesn't go to plan. We've kept it plain and honest.

Last updated: May 2026

The Fitting Pack is operated by Sam - an independent service, not affiliated with DIY Kitchens or any other kitchen retailer. References to "we", "us", or "our" throughout these terms mean The Fitting Pack.

1. What you're buying

When you purchase a guide from The Fitting Pack, you're commissioning a personalised PDF kitchen installation guide built specifically from your order. The guide is a digital product - delivered by email as a PDF - and is tailored to the units, dimensions, and layout in your order.

The guide includes sections covering your annotated floorplan, door handing reference, end panels and fillers, delivery checklist, fitting sequence, and FAQs. Exact content may vary depending on the complexity of your order and the information you provide.

The Fitting Pack is an informational guide to assist with your kitchen installation. It is not a substitute for professional fitting advice, and we are not responsible for decisions made on the basis of the guide.

2. What we need from you

After payment, you'll receive a welcome email from Sam. To build your guide, we need two files from you:

Simply reply to the welcome email with both files attached. No upload portals, no forms.

We cannot build your guide without these files. If we don't receive them within 30 days of your purchase, we'll follow up once by email. After 60 days without a response, the order will be considered abandoned and no refund will be issued.

You're responsible for ensuring the files you send are accurate and relate to your final confirmed order. If your order changes after we've built your guide and you're on the Standard plan, a revised guide may be subject to an additional charge. Plus customers can request changes free of charge, up to the revisions included in their plan.

3. Turnaround times

We aim to deliver your completed guide within 24 hours of receiving your files. This applies to both Standard and Plus plans. Turnaround times are estimates, not guarantees. Occasionally - particularly around weekends or high-demand periods - delivery may take a little longer. We'll always let you know if there's a delay.

If you haven't received your guide within 48 hours of sending your files, please get in touch at sam@thefittingpack.co.uk.

4. Versions and revisions

The Plus plan includes up to three versions of your pack: the initial one we send after we receive your files, plus up to two revisions if you'd like changes afterward.

A revision is a reasonable request to amend or correct something in your guide - for example, a unit that's been incorrectly placed, a door handing that needs updating, or a section that needs a correction based on new information from your order.

Revisions are not a mechanism for requesting a completely new guide or for changes that fall outside the scope of your original order. We'll always use our judgement fairly, but we reserve the right to decline revision requests that go beyond reasonable scope.

Revision requests should be sent by replying to the email thread containing your guide, with your updated files attached. Revisions are typically used within 30 days of delivery; we'll consider later requests on a case-by-case basis.

The Standard plan does not include revisions. If you'd like to make changes after delivery, you can request a re-issue at additional cost, or upgrade to Plus.

Unused revisions do not carry forward or transfer to other orders.

5. Refunds

Because every guide is built specifically for your order, it has no resale value to us once delivered. For this reason, we don't offer refunds once your guide has been sent.

If you haven't yet sent us your files and you'd like to cancel, contact us within 7 days of purchase and we'll issue a full refund, no questions asked.

If there's a genuine error in your guide - something we got wrong based on the information you provided - we'll fix it promptly at no extra cost, regardless of your plan.

6. Independence

The Fitting Pack is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way connected to DIY Kitchens, Howdens, Magnet, Wren, or any other kitchen retailer. References to specific retailers are made only to describe the types of orders we work with.

Your guide is built using the information in the files you provide. We do not have access to your retailer account, and the accuracy of your guide depends on the accuracy of the files you send us.

7. Your guide and how you can use it

Your guide is licensed for your personal use only - specifically, for the kitchen installation it was built for. You may share it with your fitter or other people directly involved in your installation.

You may not resell, republish, or distribute the guide commercially. You may not pass it off as your own work or use it as the basis for a competing service.

8. Limitation of liability

We take care in producing every guide, but we can't guarantee it will be free of errors, and we're not liable for any losses, costs, or damages arising from decisions made on the basis of your guide - including fitting errors, damaged units, or additional labour costs.

Our total liability to you in connection with your purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for your guide.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

9. Privacy

We use the information you provide - your email address, your floorplan screenshot, and your order CSV - solely to build and deliver your guide. The order CSV is generated by our extractor tool, which runs entirely in your browser and strips all personal details from your retailer order page before sending us anything. We don't sell your data or share it with third parties, except where required by law.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We don't store your card details. For more on how Stripe handles your data, see stripe.com/gb/privacy.

Your files are retained only as long as necessary to deliver your guide and handle any revision requests under your plan.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated. Your purchase is governed by the terms in effect at the time of payment.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
